- Register for an AEA PD Online account (if you don’t already have one). Then you will be able to sign up for the AEA Online PD course: Iowa’s Science Standards: Overview. (http://training.aeapdonline.org/index.php). Note: Teachers get this confused with other online registrations like our GPAEA MyLearning Plan or the Heartland system that is used for the Mandatory Reporter Training, etc. This is a different system and registration. The course is free for currently employed Iowa teachers and administrators.
The dates for Module 3: Gathering and Using Evidence of Student Learning can be found here. Dates for Science Networks are listed at the bottom. Registration links will be available in August. Districts wanting in-district support must enter their requests through the GPAEA PD Service Request System
