February 22 – c4k Regional Meeting
9:00 AM – 2:30 PM
Fairfield Arts & Convention Center Expo Hall
11:30 – 12:45 – Lunch on own

We would like to take this opportunity to invite you to participate in our upcoming regional meeting for the Collaborating for Iowa’s Kids [C4K] Implementation Team on February 22, 2017 from 9:00am – 2:30pm.  C4K is Iowa’s infrastructure to develop, deliver and support evidence-based practices, processes, tools and professional learning.  We would like your help as a critical friend and participant to:

  1. Understand Every Student Succeeds Act [ESSA] connections to Iowa’s statewide work such as C4K, TLC and ELI;
  2. Problem-solve how best to communicate such connections statewide;
  3. Review current status of Iowa’s Healthy Indicators and discuss how best to use/share results; and
  4. Engage with our Intervention System protocol and guide and provide feedback on implementation challenges and benefits.

Our agenda is located at tinyurl.com/c4kconnections.  All materials are posted the day of the meeting at 8am.  To be helpful, the following link provides information on the purpose of C4K, as well as our intent, goal, priority areas, broad action plan, theory of action and all the work we have accomplished to date: tinyurl.com/C4KPlan1617
